This platform belongs to the communities it preserves. True preservation is community-driven: we work with families, youth, fishermen, farmers and elders in Lamu, Tana River and Mombasa, gathering memories and records directly from their sources.
Apply below to join as a contributor. Once approved you get access to the Studio, where you can create records, upload photographs, 3D scans and recordings of any size, and follow each submission through curator review.
Community workshops
Regular workshops in Lamu and Tana River counties teach how to record high-fidelity interviews and take archive-quality photographs.
Have heirlooms at home?
Our team can create 3D digital reconstructions of family objects so they survive for future generations.
